It was more than just an exhibition – it was a statement. With the launch of Austria’s first-ever Brick Art gallery show, I, Raffaello Djordjevic, proudly presented my debut Brick Art 1.0 Collection in a private, invite-only setting. Under the brand ArtbyRaff, what began as an experimental fusion of art and bricks became a sold-out series that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
The exclusive event was held in a unique gallery setting, transformed for one night into a vibrant celebration of creativity, movement, and urban culture. Guests were treated to a full experience – live presentation of Brick Art Series 1.0, paired with curated entertainment and high-end catering. Every detail of the evening was designed to reflect the spirit of the collection: bold, playful, and one-of-a-kind.
What makes BrickArt so special? It’s a new artistic language – combining the precision of design with the nostalgia of childhood, street style, and pop culture. Each piece in the 1.0 series was handcrafted using a mixed media technique on sculptural brick surfaces, turning each work into a physical and emotional experience. During the event, the artworks were not just displayed – they were brought to life. Spotlights, beats, and reactions created a rhythm between the art and the people.
The atmosphere was electric. From collectors to creatives, from art lovers to cultural influencers – the space buzzed with conversation, curiosity, and connection. And by the end of the night, the entire BrickArt 1.0 collection was sold out. A powerful signal that this new direction in art had found its audience – and its market.
Only invited guests were part of this exclusive evening, which added to the sense of intimacy and shared discovery. It wasn’t just an opening; it was a celebration of a vision becoming reality.
As a final highlight, the event and my work were also featured in one of Austria’s most-read newspapers – the Kronen Zeitung. The article gave readers a glimpse into what’s next for Brick Art and how it’s changing the way we look at modern art in Austria.
This first exhibition was just the beginning. Brick Art is here to stay – and the journey has only just started.
